How to Fix Disk is Write protected on USB Flash Drive

Have you ever founded the Usb flash that at the time willing to put into it or copy the file into the usb flash suddenly this error appeared " Disk is Write protected " but we can copy the files from the usb flash to the computer.

Please follow these instructions carefully to remove the write protection error in usb pendrive using the Windows Registry .

1. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Window key + R ( button on the Windows logo and the image letters R )
2. Type regedit and press Enter
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrrentControlSet \ Control and find items StorageDevicePolicies
4. If there are no items "StorageDevicePolicies" , We can make its row :

• Right click on Control and select New and Key .
• Name it be StorageDevicePolicies and right click on it .
• Select New - > DWORD and name it the one with WriteProtect
• Now we will see WriteProtect in the right window pane , click 2x
• In the Value Data field change its value to 0 ( zero )
• Now Restart your system and try using a USB flashdisk back .
